To every member of the LAAT family,

We’re nearly there – nearly at the end of what has surely been the strangest, most difficult year ever and, together, we’ve got through it!

LAAT has proved to be the best and the strongest of families to belong to.

None of us has stopped or given up. We all carried on; parents, you carried on getting your children out of bed and to school – even when it was school at the kitchen table. School staff- teachers and support staff, you carried on providing everything our pupils needed to learn and grow and develop – from lessons, to clean, safe classrooms to financing the resources or providing meals – and as well as all of that you continued to attend training and network opportunities to add to your skills and make it even better for our pupils.

Governors and Directors, you continued to stay in touch, to meet, to support and monitor and steer us forward. The central team carried on providing all of the support and training and services which freed up leaders and staff in school to concentrate on the learning and the wellbeing of all.

And the pupils – what can I say about you? You were magnificent! You carried on learning, abiding by the values in your schools, continuing to grow into the very best that you can be.

So, to all of you; parents, staff, governors and pupils – a huge thank you – for all that you’ve done, for all that you are and for all that you are growing to become.

Have a wonderful summer – rest, have fun and reflect on your successes.

I will see you all in September.

God bless,
