G5, LAAT £19,503 being £3,162 for the annualised hours

Predominantly evening work to cover 18 meetings per year. Meetings normally start at 5.00/5.30pm, with one school currently holding their meetings during the school day. Apart from attendance at meetings, the role can be carried out from home, at times to suit the post holder (within agreed deadlines).

As clerk you will provide admin support to the Local Board including preparing agendas and taking and distributing minutes. This role is central to the smooth running of the Local Board: offering administrative support, keeping records and giving procedural and legislative advice to the Local Board. Clerks must have excellent organisation, communication and ICT skills, as well as an ability to take accurate minutes of meetings.

To help the successful applicant fulfil their role we expect them to attend relevant training events.

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT) is a multi-academy trust formed by the Diocese of Lincoln. We are a growing and thriving family of schools who are dedicated to providing an excellent education for pupils across Lincolnshire.

This role is to support 3 Local Boards across 3 schools within the Trust being St Peters Church of England Primary School, Canon Peter Hall Church of England Primary School and Ulceby St Nicholas Church of England Primary School.

Key aspects of the role:

  • This role will be on a part time basis.
  • Access to a computer, home printer and the internet from home is essential as the majority of the work will be home based.
  • You will also need to be able to travel as necessary.

Previous clerking experience is desirable, but training will be provided. Experience of the education sector would be desirable.

Administration experience is essential. You will need to be able to work under your own initiative, manage deadlines, update and keep accurate written and electronic records. The ability to remain impartial, comply with data protection legislation and maintain confidentiality is paramount.
