The post will be based at 103 Newport, Lincoln LN1 3EE but will involve significant travel, mainly between Trust Schools in South Lincolnshire but also across greater Lincolnshire as required.

Pay Scale / Salary

Salary: Grade 15, point 59-63 being £55,986 - £60,080 FTE

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust formed by the Diocese of Lincoln. The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust has an exciting opportunity to appoint a School Effectiveness Advisor to work with its diverse range of academies across the Diocese of Lincoln.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative individual to join our supportive central team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading school improvement and be committed to the development of outstanding schools. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to take initiatives and embrace new opportunities. They will also have the ability to work strategically and build strong, effective partnerships with a variety of stakeholders in education. The role would suit someone with an enthusiasm for developing, with schools, a creative and multi-faceted school improvement strategy which will enable the school communities to flourish through ‘excellence, exploration and encouragement’ within the love of God – our Vision for Education. Although our Trust is predominantly made up of primary schools, experience in secondary education would also be desirable, although not essential.

The successful candidate will share our vision for our family of schools, working together for the good of all pupils underpinned by Christian values.

 

We are looking for someone who has:   

  • Significant school improvement experience across a range of contexts with evidence of sustained impact
  • The ability to inspire trust and confidence, successfully leading significant change in education
  • Experience of HMI / Ofsted inspections
  • The ability to work inclusively within a Christian organisation
  • The ability to stay up to date with current educational policy and research and disseminate this into practise
