Pay Scale / Salary

Salary: Grade 7 or 8 being £25,843 to £32,233 FTE - As determined on the experience of the candidate. This post also attracts a recruitment and retention allowance of £2,000 per annum which will be payable on top of the top of the pro rata salary for the period of 2 years from appointment.

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust formed by the Diocese of
Lincoln. We are a family of 17 schools brought together by a shared vision to improve the life

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, experienced and highly organised Business and
Operations Partner to join our Secondary Academy in Stickney. William Lovell currently has
approx. 280 pupils on roll.
It’s an incredibly exciting time to join William Lovell Church of England Academy as they
enter a transformational new chapter in their development journey. The successful candidate
will fulfil an incredibly important role within the school and lead on financial and operational
effectiveness.

You will be responsible for overseeing finance and administration, HR, Estates, IT and
procurement functions that take place at school level in line with LAAT policies and
procedures. You may be an experienced School Business Manager or have experience of
working in an operational support role with a strong focus on financial and operational
planning. You will be appropriately qualified, with a school business manager, AAT or similar
qualification. Experience in a secondary school would be an advantage.
The Business and Operations Partner will be a key member of the Academy team, working
closely with school leadership but also working closely with the central team. We have a
strong network of Business and Operations Partners within the Trust who meet regularly with
the central services team to share best practise and collaborate for the benefit of all our
pupils. The central team consists of professional and experienced Finance, HR,
Governance, Premises and School development staff.

We are looking for someone who has:
Experience of working in a finance role in the education sector
Experience in line managing office and finance staff
An understanding of the key financial controls, strategic planning and budgetary
management required in a School
The ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload effectively
The ability to oversee the implementation of central policies and procedures
An awareness of Health and Safety requirements in a School
An understanding of and empathy with the Christian values of the organisation
The aspiration to keep children at the heart of all their decisions
