The Lincoln Diocesan Board of Education (LDBE) is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our dedicated and talented team which inspires our family of church schools and academies across the Diocese of Lincoln. This is an exciting and challenging role, in the context of an organisation which places Christian vision and values at the centre of all that we do.

The Diocese of Lincoln supports 141 church schools across a wide geographical area (infant, junior, primary and secondary) in the three Local Authorities of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

For our next exciting phase of development, we are looking to appoint an experienced and innovative individual to become our new School Effectiveness Adviser.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading school improvement and be committed to the development of outstanding church schools. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to take initiatives and embrace new opportunities and have the ability to work strategically, building strong, effective partnerships with a variety of stakeholders in education. The role would suit someone with an enthusiasm for delivering, with schools, a creative and multi-faceted school improvement strategy which will enable the school communities to flourish through ‘excellence, exploration and encouragement within the love of God’ – our Vision for Education.

The successful candidate will share our vision for our family of schools, working together for the good of all pupils underpinned by Christian values.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of successful senior leadership in an educational setting
  • Significant school improvement experience across a range of contexts
  • The ability to inspire trust and confidence
  • Experience of HMI / Ofsted inspections
  • The ability to work inclusively within a Christian organisation

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate on a permanent full time contract. Candidates wishing to work 4 days per week instead of full time should state this in their application for consideration.
